Boracay Island is part of the territory of the Philippines in Southeast Asia. It is located two kilometers off the northwestern tip of heart-shaped Panay Island, at 11º 57′ North, longitude 121º 55′ East. in the central part (also called the Western Visayas Region) of the Philippines.
Boracay is 315kms (200 miles) south of Manila, the capital and primary international gateway of the Philippines. Moreover, it can be found 150 kms (97miles) northwest of Iloilo City, the administrative capital of Western Visayas Region.
