Accommodation standards vary, with top of the line hotels and resorts to a simple bed rented from a resident. As such, whatever your budget, you could easily find a suitable place to stay in Boracay Island.

White beach is the main tourism and commercial area of Boracay. It is where most of the hotels and beach resorts in Boracay are located. White Beach is divided into three areas: Station 1, 2, and 3. Each station has its own character and caters to different types of travelers.

Most of the high-end hotels are located in Station 1 because of its finer and whiter sand of Boracay. White beach is the center of Boracay, with easy access to all of the island’s attraction.

Station 2 has a mix of high end, mid range, and low end hotels and resorts.

Meanwhile, Station 3 hosts most of the budget beach resorts and tourist inns but also has a few high-end hotels and resorts.

Bulabog beach is the less crowded version of White Beach catering to the adventure water sports enthusiast crowd and those seeking a more peaceful side of Boracay but still have easy access to White Beach.

Southern and Northern Boracay is the most exclusive parts of the island with private beaches and luxury hotels such as Shangri-la and Monaco Suites de Boracay.

There are many things to do and see in Boracay that can keep you busy and make for a memorable vacation in this tiny piece of paradise. Upon arriving in Boracay the first attraction that you’ll have to check out is White Beach, the prime attraction of Boracay Island.

White Beach is an breathtaking five kilometer stretch of powdery white sand bordered by azure blue waters perfect for swimming and other beach activities. It is the main tourism and commercial area lined with all sorts of resorts, restaurants, bars, shops, and small vendors. Most of the tourists on the island go out to White Beach during sundown especially near Willy’s Rock in Station 1 to see the amazing sunset that Boracay is famous for.

Locals also build elaborate sandcastles during this time so be sure to take a quick snapshot with these beautiful creations. At night, you can party the night away in one of Boracay’s night clubs or just enjoy the ambiance in its many bars.

Aside from White Beach, Boracay has more white sand beaches scattered around the island. These beaches are much peaceful and less crowded than White Beach.

It is worth going in boat tours or renting motorbikes to explore the island, as there are other beautiful beaches on the other side of the island that are even better for snorkeling that will be completely deserted.

Bulabog Beach – located on the opposite side of White Beach, it is the second longest beach in the island. Favorable wind speeds in Bulabog Beach make it is a popular haven for wind sports enthusiasts.

Puka Beach a quiet stretch of white sand along the northern tip of the island. This is where locals gather the small puka shells for some of the jewelry that is sold on the island so expect the sand to be more coarse than on White Beach.
