Beaches in Boracay – Take your pick of more than a dozen white sand beaches

Boracay Island is packed with many beaches to explore, each with its own distinct flavor. Undeniably, White Beach (also called Long Beach), is the most famous because it is the main attraction of the island. Other popular beaches in Boracay is Bulabog Beach, known for being a windsurfer’s haven, and Puka Beach, known for its shiny puka shells that are used to make bracelets and necklaces. There are still a lot more beaches scattered all throughout Boracay that could offer a peaceful atmosphere from the popular beaches. White Beach

This 4km stretch is what made Boracay famous throughout the world because of its fine powdery white sand and calm azure blue waters. It is the central attraction and commercial area of Boracay with a diverse range of resorts, restaurants, bars, and stores lined up. The water is shallow a long way from the shore, which makes it a perfect place for swimming and other casual activities. Tourists usually take advantage of its wide coast to relax/sunbathe or have drinks under the shade of coconut trees and beach umbrellas. White Beach is divided into 3 boat stations namely: Station 1, Station 2, and Station 3. Station 3 is the most peaceful part of the beach, it is where the more budget-friendly hotels/resorts are located. Station 2 is the central part of Boracay and is the busiest place to be because it is where most of the restaurants, shops, and resorts are located. Station 1 is the most upscale part of White Beach, where the five star resorts are located. The sand in Station 1 is generally whiter, and finer than Station 2 and 3.
Diniwid Beach
Diniwid Beach is just a short walk from the north end of White Beach. It is a great place for those who would want to spend time in a less crowded place but still be able to go back to White Beach easily. This 150 meter long beach surrounded by steep cliffs is a good for picnics and snorkeling.
Balinghai Beach
If you’re looking for a hideout in Boracay, Balinghai is a great place for you. This 200 meter beach located on the northwestern part of Boracay is enclosed by a wall of steep cliffs, giving Balinghai its peace and privacy. There is also a coral garden not too far out, perfect for snorkeling. A resort named Balinghai Resort rests on top of the cliffs.
Bunyagan Beach
A short secluded white sand beach bordered by tall coconut trees and blue waters describe Bunyagan Beach found past Balinghai Beach at the north of White Beach.
Punta Bunga Beach
Punta Bunga Beach Boracay is located near Balinghai Boracay Beach. It is also a quiet part of Boracay with a number of rooms and private houses, which may be rented.
Puka Beach
Puka Beach is a 1.2 kilometer white sand stretch located on the north coast of Boracay. It is named as such because of the abundance of shiny white Puka Shells that are used to make lovely bracelets, necklaces, and other fashion accessories. Puka Beach a major attraction in Boracay because of its beautiful scenery. It can be reached by road.
Ilig-iligan Beach
Ilig Iligan Beach is located on the northeastern coast of Boracay offering several coves and caves. It is around 500 meters long, suitable for swimming and snorkeling only during the Habagat season / Northeastern Monsoon (June-November) when the waters of this side of Boracay is less turbulent. A 30 minute walk inland from Ilig-iligan takes visitors to the lush jungles of Boracay, where the Bat Caves can be found.
The beach can be accessed by road or by pumpboat.
Lapuz-Lapuz Beach

Lapuz-lapuz Beach is a small stretch of sand offering many coves and caves. Lapuz – Lapuz is the private beach of Fairways and Blue Waters Resort and Philippine Championship Golf Course. It can be accessed by road or by pumpboat.
Bulabog Beach

Literally on the other side of White Beach is the 1.5km long Bulabog Beach. It is popular among Windsurfers and Kitesurfers during during the early months of the year until June and July because of its strong winds. Bulabog Beach is the site of the annual Boracay International Funboard Cup, which is an official leg of the Asian Windsurfing Tour. From White Beach, Bulabog Beach is just a 600 meter walk away. Tourists can enjoy a less crowded side of Boracay here, they can also take a road from Bulabog Beach to get to Mount Luho, the highest point in Boracay, where a great view of the whole island can be seen.
Tulubhan Beach
Tulubhan Beach is another quiet beach, located further south of Bulabog Beach. It has many coves and shaded spots where one can relax.
Tambisaan Beach
A short walk away from Tulubhan Beach is Tambisaan Beach, where a small village is just nearby. The atmosphere here is also quiet and peaceful.
Manoc-manoc Beach
At the he southernmost tip of Boracay is Manoc Manoc Beach, where a good view of the village of Caticlan can be seen with the stately mountains of mainland Panay as its backdrop. The waves here are strong all year round. Manoc-manoc Beach can be reached by road.
Cagban Beach
Cagban Beach is where the main entry/exit port of Boracay is located. In the local dialect, Cagban means chest or treasure. It is said that many treasure chests still lay under the sand and in the caves of Cagban.
